Lactation Support

Feeding Support, Right at Home

Feeding your baby is natural, but it doesn’t always come naturally. Whether you’re nursing, pumping, or doing a little of both, you deserve patient, judgment-free support in the comfort of your own home.

Hi, I’m Erica

I’m a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) and a certified birth and postpartum doula. I’ve supported families through birth and the newborn weeks for years, and I know how much easier everything feels when feeding is going well. I’ll meet you where you are, listen to your goals, and help you build a plan that works for your family.

How I Can Help

  • Latch and positioning, including comfortable holds for you and baby

  • Weighted feeds: I weigh your baby before and after a feeding to see how much milk your baby is taking in

  • Getting started in the first days and weeks

  • Understanding milk supply and your baby’s feeding cues

  • Pump setup, flange fit and building a pumping routine

  • Going back to work: pumping schedules, storing milk and talking to your employer

  • Introducing a bottle, including paced bottle feeding

  • Comfort measures for engorgement and sore nipples

  • Prenatal feeding prep, so you feel ready before baby arrives

  • Encouragement on the hard days. You are not doing it wrong.

When I’ll Refer You

As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, I provide education and hands-on support for common breastfeeding and pumping concerns. I am not an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Some situations need clinical lactation care, such as concerns about your baby’s weight gain, a possible tongue or lip tie, ongoing pain or nipple damage, signs of infection like fever or a hard, red, painful area of the breast, or a premature or medically complex baby. When that happens, I’ll refer you to a trusted IBCLC or your healthcare provider, and I’m happy to keep supporting you alongside them.
